My Experience
Before coming on as the Editor of The Product Manager in 2022, I spent 5+ years as a freelance writer and content manager, working with clients in a broad array of sectors—including tech startups, edtech organizations, and consultancies. These experiences taught me the value of following your curiosity and channeling it into deep research to understand your audience and what they care about.
As a natural ‘people person’ and serial networker, I have been fortunate to meet and build relationships with individuals in the digital product space. After six years working for Apple in the areas of software and hardware troubleshooting, sales, and customer education, I’ve learned a great deal about how technology can make positive changes in people’s personal and professional lives. It’s been my privilege to advocate for both users and product teams in this role, which allows me to connect and collaborate with the most innovative voices in the SaaS industry today.
Since May of 2023, I’ve also acted as the host of The Product Manager Podcast, a project that is especially dear to my heart. Along with our brilliant producer Becca Banyard, hosting the show has allowed me to learn from brilliant product people at every stage of their career. Our focus on creating value for our audience has allowed us to reach over 10,000 monthly listeners and counting—we hope you’ll join us!

Technology I Use
Hardware-wise, my 14″ MacBook Pro is my sidekick. I record the podcast with a Yeti Blue microphone and Audio-Technica ATH-M30x headphones.
The software I rely on every day includes Slack, Chrome, the Google Workspace suite, WordPress, and a wide array of analytics tools.
I’m also an occasional user of Miro and myriad other software tools I take for test drives for our detailed product reviews.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of Spotify and unabashedly reliant on the iOS Notes app.
