Our Values

Our community is only as strong as its people.
To provide our members with a safe and inclusive space to share knowledge and ask questions, we ask that all members conduct themselves in alignment with our values.

Respect who each other are.

Be kind and courteous! Degrading and antagonizing comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. All gender pronouns are to be respected. And any threats of violence or public shaming will result in your immediate removal from the community.

Leave your soapbox at the door.

Our community is non-partisan, so any political megaphoning is inappropriate. We’re here to share our experiences and contribute to the greater good of each other, not create more walls that hold us back.

Share with purpose.

The more you give, the more you receive! Share all of your knowledge whether it’s about tools, best practices, podcasts, articles, training, and so on. It will come back to you tenfold. Sharing with purpose encourages others to do the same, so be prepared to contribute!

Be truthful.

Share your own experiences and your own personal journey in a straightforward and accurate manner. This is a safe space so don’t be afraid to be your own true authentic self. Help others in the best way you know possible. Don’t spin tales from your imagination to be clever and impressive. We’re all here to learn from each other.

Respect confidentiality & anonymity.

Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make intimate communities great, but the topics may also be sensitive and private. Shared assets and personal stories should stay within the community, but of course you can take away all the advice, tips, and tricks that other members have shared!

No spam, please.

We ask that members not promote, solicit, or spam our members in ways that are invasive, unwelcome, irrelevant, or just not valuable to the conversation. There are plenty of places on the Internet for that; this is not one of them.

If we notice someone engaging in behavior outside this code of conduct, we reserve the right to remove them from the community.
